Notable Milestones and Iconic Models
1. Reverso (1931)
The Reverso was designed for polo players who needed a watch that could withstand the impacts of the game. Its rectangular case could flip over to protect the dial, making it one of the most distinctive watches in history. The Reverso remains a symbol of Art Deco style and is still in production today.

2. Duoplan (1925)
In an effort to miniaturize movements without sacrificing precision, Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced the Duoplan. Its two-level movement allowed the use of a larger balance wheel, enhancing accuracy.

3. Joaillerie 101 (1929)
This model features the world’s smallest mechanical movement, weighing just about one gram. The watch became legendary when Queen Elizabeth II wore it during her coronation in 1953.

4. Atmos (1928)
The Atmos clock is a near-perpetual motion timepiece that operates without manual winding or batteries. It runs on temperature and air pressure changes, making it one of the most energy-efficient mechanical clocks ever made.

5. Memovox (1950)
Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced the Memovox, a wristwatch with an alarm function. The 1956 edition, featuring the Caliber 815, was the first automatic alarm watch in history.

6. Geophysic (1958)
Created to commemorate the International Geophysical Year, the Geophysic was designed to withstand magnetic fields, shocks, and extreme conditions. It was later worn by Captain William R. Anderson, the commander of the first nuclear-powered submarine, USS Nautilus.

Recent Innovations
In recent years, Jaeger-LeCoultre has expanded its artistic and horological expertise. In 2024, the company collaborated with perfumer Nicolas Bonneville to create a collection of fragrances inspired by watchmaking craftsmanship.
The Reverso collection has also evolved, with modern iterations like the Tribute Monoface, which pays homage to the original 1931 design, and the Duoface models, which allow for the display of two time zones.
Jaeger-LeCoultre continues to push the boundaries of watchmaking with technical advancements and artistic craftsmanship, maintaining its position as a pioneer in the industry.
